We are delighted that we can finally announce the date of the re-scheduled Steve Harris tribute show as Friday 19th July 2013. It’s a long way off and we’d have much rather it be a lot earlier, but unfortunately it’s the earliest date we call confirm. The show will, as before, be held at the Asylum Venue in Birmingham and all tickets sold for the postponed show will still be valid for this date.

We’re looking forward to seeing you there!

As this rearranged concert is seven months away, can I suggest something? It would be great to take home a fitting souvenir from the gig… how about a booklet/programme detailing Steve’s contribution to the band? For example, he was a founder member and therefore previous bandmates (as well as current) could pen a few words on the man himself. Also friends and family may want to add their thoughts.
Like I’ve said, it gives you chaps seven months to do this, and I think it would be a great way of raising funds to Brain Tumour UK. Just a thought!
See you in July and, as always, love to Deb.

      Great shout Wayne.
We would love to spend some money on this evening and support the Brain Tumour UK charity and the memory of our mate Steve. Maybe a t-shirt with a picture of Steve in action with the date of this concert and the Charity logo too?
If there was a booklet or souvenir, we have all got some great memories of Steve that we could contribute.
Merry Christmas everyone and see you all next year.
Love to Deb and best wishes to all of the SHY family.

PLEASE!!!!!!! Film this significant and meaningful tribute and release it on DVD/Blu-Ray for the fans in other countries who will be unable to attend. A band like Shy and jewels like the ones Steve composed deserve to have a legacy on live video. Please, we loyal Shy fans deserve that I think. Steve would have give it to us. Thanks and Steve Harris forever!

  3. Wonderful idea Wayne! And ShyFanForever. News of this gig has made my day!! ;)
